Freshsales alerts aren't posting
Something changed in Freshsales, but no alert shows up in the channel you picked.
Fix it
Section titled “Fix it”- Give it two minutes. Freesbe checks Freshsales every two minutes, so an alert can take that long to show up.
- Check whose key is connected. Freesbe only sees the deals and contacts the key’s owner can see in Freshsales. If they can’t see a deal, it doesn’t post. Reconnect with the key of someone who sees every deal, such as a Freshsales admin.
- Check the account. Alerts come from the account named next to Freshsales. Changes in another Freshsales account, such as a test one, don’t post.
- Check the alert takes that change. Open the alert’s ⋯ → Edit: is the kind of change ticked (for example Deals moving stage), and is the deal worth at least the Smallest deal to post? A deal with no value is left out when a smallest deal is set.
- Check the alert is on. An alert marked Off doesn’t post. Choose ⋯ → Turn on.
- Check the channel. Alerts don’t post into archived channels. Pick another channel with ⋯ → Edit.
- Send a test alert. Choose ⋯ → Send a test alert. If the sample card shows up, the channel is fine and the filters or Freshsales’s side are the reason.
Which changes post
Section titled “Which changes post”- Deals moving stage posts when a deal moves to another stage.
- Deals won and Deals lost post when a deal moves to a won or lost stage.
- Changes to a deal’s value, owner or notes don’t post on their own.
- Deleted deals and contacts don’t post.
- When hundreds of deals change at once, for example in a bulk update, Freesbe posts the most recent few hundred.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”Check Freshsales in Integrations → CRM: if it says Needs reconnecting, Freshsales stopped accepting the key. Paste a new one and click Reconnect. Otherwise, email support@freesbe.net with the deal’s link and when it changed.
