Get back a workspace that was deleted
A workspace you were in is gone from Freesbe, or you got an email saying Northwind Traders was deleted.
While it’s closed, it can come back
Section titled “While it’s closed, it can come back”A closed workspace is read-only for 30 days before it’s deleted. Until then:
- If its owner closed it, the owner can reopen it.
- If Freesbe closed it because nobody used it, the owner or any admin can click Keep this workspace.
Look for the banner at the top of the workspace, or Workspace → General → Workspace → Close workspace in the Admin Center.
Once it’s deleted, it can’t
Section titled “Once it’s deleted, it can’t”After the 30 days we delete everything in it: channels, messages, files, recordings, meetings, integrations and settings. Backups roll off within 30 more days. Nobody at Freesbe can bring it back.
What you can still do:
- Use an export. If an owner or admin exported it before, that copy has everything that was in it.
- Start again. Your Freesbe account and your other workspaces aren’t affected. You can create a new workspace, even with the same name.
- Invoices are kept for 7 years. Email us if you need one.
See Close a workspace.
