Ask the help center from ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant
Your AI assistant can answer “how do I…” questions about Freesbe from this help center, and link the page each answer comes from, instead of guessing. You add the help center once, as a connector. It needs no Freesbe account and sees nothing of your workspace.
Add the help center to your assistant
Section titled “Add the help center to your assistant”-
In your assistant, open its connector or MCP server settings. In Claude it’s Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector; in ChatGPT, Settings → Connectors. In a code editor, it’s usually an
mcp.jsonfile. -
Add this address, and leave the sign-in settings empty:
https://freesbe.net/assistant/mcp -
Save it. The assistant now has two tools: search_help, which finds the parts of the guides and knowledge base that answer a question, and read_help_page, which reads one page in full.
Then ask as usual, like “How do I share my screen in a Freesbe huddle?”. Most assistants pick the tool on their own; if yours doesn’t, say “use the Freesbe help center”.
Already connected your workspace?
Section titled “Already connected your workspace?”If you’ve connected an AI agent to your workspace at
https://api.freesbe.net/mcp, it already has both help tools, whatever you allowed it to do, so
you don’t need to add the help center as well.
Without a connector
Section titled “Without a connector”Assistants that read the web can use the help center on their own:
- freesbe.net/llms.txt lists every guide and article, and freesbe.net/llms-full.txt has all of their text in one file.
- Every guide and article has a Markdown copy at its address with
.mdinstead of the last slash, like freesbe.net/docs/huddles.md. Paste that link into a chat to give the assistant just that page.
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”- The assistant asks you to sign in: check the address ends in
/assistant/mcp. The address for your workspace,https://api.freesbe.net/mcp, needs a sign-in; the help center’s doesn’t. - “Too many requests”: the help center slows down an address that asks very often. Wait a minute and ask again.
- It says the help center doesn’t cover something: it only answers from these pages. Try other words, or contact support.
Answers come from the Freesbe guides and are written by AI, so check the linked guide before relying on one. Please don't include personal details such as emails or passwords.
