Post Uptime Kuma and UptimeRobot alerts to a channel

How-toFor adminsReviewed Guides: Uptime Kuma, UptimeRobot, Workspace settings

Connecting either tool takes about five minutes. You need a Freesbe admin and an admin of the uptime tool.

  • Make the channel first, such as #status-checks, and add the people who fix outages.
  • Pick the monitors. Only the monitors you add Freesbe’s webhook to post, so decide which ones are worth a card.
  1. Open Workspace settings → Integrations & apps → Integrations → Monitoring and click Connect under Uptime Kuma or UptimeRobot.
  2. Name it and pick the channel. For Uptime Kuma, you can fill in its address so the cards link to their monitors.
  3. Click Connect. Copy the Freesbe URL (it’s shown once), and for UptimeRobot the Payload too.
  1. Open Settings → Notifications → Setup Notification and pick Webhook.
  2. Paste the URL in Post URL, keep the body as application/json, tick Apply on all existing monitors if every monitor should post, and save.
  1. Open Integrations & API and add a Webhook.
  2. Paste the URL in URL to notify, turn on Send as JSON, paste the payload in POST value, turn on down and up notifications, and add it to your monitors.

Pause a test monitor, or point one at an address that doesn’t answer: a card posts when it goes down, and turns green when you fix it. Uptime Kuma’s own Test button posts nothing.

See Uptime Kuma and UptimeRobot for everything the cards show.
