Freesbe

Compare

A phone system you don't have to administer.

3CX is a PBX you license per system and host yourself or with 3CX, with a free SMB edition for up to 10 users. Freesbe's phone system is part of a hosted workspace: a number per person, menus and call flows, queues, voicemail you can read, recordings, E911 and texts, set up in the Admin Center and priced per person.

  • Buy a number, record a menu and set the hours in the Admin Center; nothing to install.
  • Minutes, texts and a local number per person come with the add-on, from Freesbe.
  • Take calls in the same app as the chat, on the computer, the phone or a desk phone.
  • Get recordings, transcripts and notes, and a call log with reports.

For Small businesses that have outgrown running a PBX, or never wanted to.

The numbers list in the Admin Center

Numbers and calling from Freesbe, no trunk to buy

Turn on the phone system in the Admin Center, pick the country (the United States or Canada for now), verify your identity once and buy numbers, local or toll-free. One local number per person is included with the add-on, with minutes and texts pooled across the workspace. Your existing numbers can be ported in.

Menus, queues, hours and ring groups, set up by an admin

In the Admin Center an admin buys numbers, records a phone menu, draws a call flow, sets business hours and holidays, picks the hold music, and decides who a number rings: one person, a ring group of up to 20, or a call queue with a live board for the supervisor. Callers who hide their number can be turned away.

Desk phones and softphones still work

A desk phone or a softphone registers with SIP credentials from the Admin Center. Calls also ring the Freesbe app on the computer and the phone, and a call can move between them. If you already have a sip.io account, connect it instead of buying numbers from Freesbe.

Where 3CX is the better fit

3CX runs on your own server or in its own hosting, with your choice of SIP trunk provider and country, and its paid editions are priced per system by simultaneous calls, which can be very cheap per user for a large office. A company that wants to own its PBX and pick its carrier should stay with 3CX.

Side by side

Freesbe's prices come from its pricing catalog; 3CX's from its pricing and SMB pages on the date below. 3CX prices per system, not per person, so the rows compare the models rather than one number. The add-on isn't on sale yet; talk to us to be first.
