A phone system inside the chat, not beside it.

RingCentral RingEX is a full phone and meetings suite from $20 per user a month billed yearly. Freesbe puts the phone system inside team chat: a number for each person, menus and call flows, queues, voicemail you can read, recordings with notes, E911 and click-to-call from your CRM, as an add-on to a plan with chat, meetings and an inbox.

  • Take the call, read the voicemail and see the notes in the same app your team chats in.
  • Pay for Business plus the Phone system add-on, with the minutes and texts pooled across the team.
  • Set up menus, call flows, ring groups, business hours and hold music in the Admin Center.
  • Click to call from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM, and port your numbers in.

For Small businesses that want one app for chat and the phone, and a price they can read off a page.

The call lands where the team already is

Each person gets a number and a dialpad in the app they chat in. A call rings the computer and the phone, can be transferred to a colleague, an extension or a queue, merged into a three-way call, and recorded. Voicemail is written out in the app, and the call's transcript and notes are a click away.

Menus, queues, hours and ring groups, set up by an admin

In the Admin Center an admin buys numbers, records a phone menu, draws a call flow, sets business hours and holidays, picks the hold music, and decides who a number rings: one person, a ring group of up to 20, or a call queue with a live board for the supervisor. Callers who hide their number can be turned away.

Click-to-call from your CRM, and a call-us link for customers

A phone number in HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM becomes a call in Freesbe with one click. A call-us link on your site or in a signature starts a call from the customer's browser. Emergency calling (E911) is included, with each person's address on file, and your existing numbers can be ported in.

Where RingCentral is the better fit

RingEX includes unlimited domestic calling, video meetings with up to 300 people, thousands of toll-free minutes on the bigger plans, and a deep catalog of integrations and analytics for a large sales or support floor. A company with many sites and a contact center that needs all of that under one vendor may be better served there.

Yes: call queues, agents who take breaks, supervisors who listen in, and a live board, with the Call center add-on on top of the Phone system add-on.
Can I keep my desk phones?
Yes. A desk phone or softphone registers with SIP credentials from the Admin Center, and your existing numbers can be ported in.
